Situated in the north of the Costa Blanca, the "white coast" along a bay of 25 km between the Cabo de San Antonio and the Cabo de la Nao, Javea (or valenciano Xabia) is protected from the mainland wind by the Mediterranean as well as by the mountain Montgo.
With its versatile landscape both at the coast and in the interior a marvellously mild climate during the whole year and a nature friendly infrastructure. This lovely place retained itself the charm of a fishing village and offers an enticing vacation supply to the visitor. Javea has a variety of possibilities: 6 beaches, a yacht and fishing harbour, 3 tennis outlets, 2 golf courses etc, shopping facilities such as supermarkets for the highest requirements, fashion shops, a market hall, weekly market, banks and restaurants for every taste. Not to mention culture and exhibitions.
There are only a few hotels and therefore no 'mass tourism'. A large part of the town is under nature conservation.
You can find small separated rock bays in addition to the wide sandy beach Arenal with its palm lined promenade and many restaurants and shops. The town has history and future. Here the new presence with its amenities lives next to the historic town centre.
