Beuvron-en-Auge is a commune in the Calvados department and Normandy region of north-western France. It is located about thirty kilometers from Caen and Lisieux. In the heart of the famous Pays d'Auge, this former stronghold of the Harcourt family looks like a real picture of Epinal, with its half-timbered houses and lovely hall.
Beuvron is affiliated to Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ("the most beautiful villages of France"), an independent association of communes and communities of communes which seeks to promote as tourist destinations those small, picturesque French villages which meet its membership criteria.
An archetypal Norman village, its half-timbered houses lovingly restored, Beuvron-en-Auge is redolent of traditional rustic Normandy, with its concentration of local producers and antiques dealers.
