Duclair is not especially inspiring except for the views of the river from the Liberation Quay which is shaded by lime trees.
To the west of the town there is a strange feature where the main road from Caudebec suddenly changes direction and goes northeast, following the course of one of the Seine's tributaries, the Austreberthe. Once, this river flowed through this valley but now has been cut off by the Seine which is gradually snaking its way westwards.
