Valras-Plage is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitainie region in southern France.

Seaside resort of the Gulf of Lion on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, it takes place about ten kilometers from Béziers and thirty kilometers from Narbonne. Favorite beach of the Biterrois, the commune knows important tourist waves in the summer period.

Over time, the commune of Valras-Plage has retained its traditional aspect of village, while modernizing its infrastructures. It is with the creation of a railway line in the nineteenth century that will quickly make the success of the seaside resort. It became independent commune in the early 1930s, after being attached to Sérignan, has since ceased to develop, notably through its marina.

Located at the mouth of the Orb, Valras-Plage does not possess an important architectural heritage, but does not lack charm, especially through its preserved nature. There are many nautical and recreational activities, as well as hiking and other outdoor sports.

Built in the early 1910s, the Notre-Dame-du-Perpétuel church blends the traditional architecture of the Hérault with modern concrete concrete constructions.
