Ernée is a French commune with 5717 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Mayenne department in the Pays de la Loire region.
The small town is halfway between the towns of Mayenne and Fougères . It is crossed by the river Ernée of the same name .
In the municipality there are historical sites such as the Dolmen Contrie du Rocher, north of Ernée, the Allée couverte de la Tardivière and Roman sites, which are presented in a museum.
Ernée's notable buildings include the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Charné, a 12th-century chapel, and the Château de Pannard, a 16th-century Renaissance castle.
