In 2012, the harbor was expanded with new pontoons to increase its capacity to 669 berths. A jetty is also at the disposal of boats making a stopover.
Overlooked by the Conchette windmill, the harbour offers a panoramic view over the ocean thanks to its specially designed walks, including along the sea wall.
In july and august, a lot of events are put on. Concerts, street shows, night markets are all ideal occasions to spend time with family or friends. You can check the events program in the section "entertainment".
The wooded zone of 350 hectares which follows the coastline has preserved its authenticity, protected from the creeping urban sprawl. Throughout the season, the many species of flora and fauna provide peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Amble along the four marked pedestrian routes that lead to La Mine or to Bélesbat. Alternatively, try out the forest health trail.
For a few moments of relaxation after the beach, come to the Etang du Plumat and discover the 85 hectares of marshland with its many varieties of birds, such as mallards, herons and swans. A cycling circuit allows you to travel through this natural preserved area. The beautiful landscape will appeal to nature lovers and photographers.
