Stumm is a municipality in the Schwaz district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the central Ziller valley on the right bank of the River Ziller.
Stumm has a population of just over 1,800 and records indicate that there has been a settlement on this site since the 8 th century. At 460 years old, Stumm Castle is not quite as old but is nevertheless a popular attraction with beautiful grounds.
