Werfenweng is a municipality in the St. Johann im Pongau district in the state of Salzburg in Austria.

Werfenweng is found below the splendid Tennengebirge, a pleasant ski area with many possibilities for families. The ski area contains many old haylofts. Ski lifts leave from Wengerau and Zaglau. The slope is approximately 4.5km long (with an altitude drop of 800 m).
