Ballidon has a few cottages and farms sheltering under White Edge and Blackstone's Low, with its huge limestone quarry, and a lonely chapel away in the fields.
Much restored, this has a nave and chancel under one roof, and keeps a Norman chancel arch and a Norman doorway, some 15th century windows, and a 15th century font crudely carved with varied patterns.
